The company is looking for an experienced publisher development professional to join the company Japan, to help build out our publisher network, and manage strategic partnerships.

As Publisher Development Manager Japan, you will work with the Japanese Country Manager to identify, pursue, and negotiate new partnership deals with programmatic supply partners, social platforms and websites / blogs across verticals such as online press, portals, autos, tech, bus－finance, women’s genres, lifestyle, gaming and entertainment.
You will manage all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, closing, implementing and relationship management, and build successful long－term relationships.
You’ll work closely with the Japanese commercial lead to help activate campaigns and identify key publishers with which we can partner.
You will work at the company’s fast growing Japan office and you will be reporting to the Japan Country Manager.

Identify, close and manage upscale publisher partnerships with programmatic supply side partners in Japan ＋ be able to efficiently manage the company video supply across the range of partners we work with
＜About You: Experience＞
・Demonstrated experience selling solutions to digital publishers and building relationships with key decision makers
・Previously identified key publishing partners
・Worked with programmatic vendors and experience with technical aspects of managing supply in this way
・Managed all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, closing, implementing and relationship management
・Negotiated deals with new publishing partners across multiple verticals
・Previously performed against business development targets
・Knowledge of culture, trends and innovation in the digital space
＜About You: Skills＞
・A skilled negotiator with a keen interest with closing deals and working with publishers
・Analytical, able to solve problems, articulate solutions and analyse and report upon data
・Able to prepare, collateral and present value proposition on key publishers for sales teams
・An Intermediate / advanced user of the Microsoft Office Suite （including Powerpoint and Excel） and ideally have some experience with Google Apps
・Able to understand basics of digital product development and platforms
・Can communicate value proposition around paid, earned, and owned media
・Have experience with publishers in the mobile space
・Have led global relationships with premium publishers and large networks
・Have professional technical experience with digital publishing and ad－serving and can pitch to technical audiences about platform solutions
・Have direct experience closing deals with partners in the video space
・Are fluent in several languages
