職務内容
As the director you are responsible for the long-term development of the client's brand and its global projects as well as overseeing all the strategic thinking, development, and output for the client across the Eastern part of the globe. From South Africa to New Zealand, and includes the two big markets of Japan and China.
You are going to work closely with media and analytics to help develop impactful, integrated, and measurable strategic platforms. And act as a thought leader whose day-to-day responsibilities are to inspire, validate and rail guard strategic and creative quality of work and thinking done by people you work with.
You will not do this alone, but work close with the teams in NYC, Tokyo and Bangkok.
On any given day you might
- Serve as the strategic leader for the client's business in individual markets, and take accountability in partnership with local agencies for growing that business
- Partner with other planning leads to guide their clients towards bold and innovative solutions
- Demonstrate an analysis of category, brand, cultural and people trends that highlights opportunities for the client's businesses
- Develop overarching strategies for models, sponsorship platforms, and other brand properties collaborating closely with internal teams and clients alike.
- Lead the global client into unchartered territory in the evolution of their master brand and models.
- Take ownership of the quality of the creative brief and briefing process
- Develop strong working relationships with your counterparts in Strategy, Account, and with media, forming the basis of trust and action to move strategies from theory to reality.
- Develop thought leadership pieces.
- Ensure use, adoption and learning of proprietary strategic tools
- Promote use of data & other insight tools.

Who you will be…

- Have deep experience of creating brand strategy across borders
- Can use brand strategy to inform product strategy, design and experience
- Crisp thinker and communicator – verbally, visually and in writing
- See strategy as a team sport, drawing on your expertise and others’ in brand, digital, social, comms, data, behavioral and experiential strategy…and whatever comes next
- Collaborative with creative and account management leads, with partner agencies and clients
- Have a proven track record of successfully leading clients into new strategic areas
- Are able to work across different nationalities, departments and disciplines to push work forward
- Are familiar with a broad range of approached for building brands, including advertising, social media, CRM, search, innovation, and media and connections planning
